At Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre we are so excited to be delivering Tom Daley Diving Academy lessons. This is the perfect introduction to learning to dive, whether you are aiming to be the next Tom Daley or wanting to give a new sport a go.
Lessons are suitable for kids aged 7-16 year olds, as long as they are able to competently swim in deep water. The programme is broken down into the following levels:

Foundation - Our entry level for thoses that have never dived before aimed at teaching you the basics of diving at poolside. 30 minutes |

Beginner - Building on what you have learned at foundation, beginner will teach you new skills with diving boards becoming more prominent at this level. 30 minutes |

Improver - At this level you progress to more difficult diving techniques on higher boards. 45 minutes |
|
Advanced - Advanced pushes you to some of the most challenging diving skills. 60 minutes |
|
Skills - Skills provide advanced divers time to hone their technique and master skills on the board. 60 minutes |
A Full-Body Workout
Diving engages multiple muscle groups, including the core, legs and arms, making it an excellent full-body workout.
Improved Flexibility
Requiring a wide range of motion, diving helps to improve your flexibility and increase your mobility.
Enhanced Coordination
Requiring you to use both your body and mind, diving can help develop your balance and coordination.
