Kentish Town Sports Centre provide lots of great opportunities for people with disabilities to get active.
Our universal offer provides a variety of activities for everyone, from Swimming to Fitness classes and Gym.
We also offer specifically tailored sessions, which provide a more adapted environment for customers with disabilities.
Poolpod lifts give you independent, comfortable access to the pool, getting you swimming quickly and easily. Unlike traditional pool hoists, you can operate Poolpod yourself, using one of the specially designed wristbands, to access the pool independently.
Poolpods are located at both Swiss Cottage and Kentish Town, a member of staff will be on hand to support you.
We believe everyone should be able to enjoy staying active, no matter what your access needs are. That’s why our Inclusive membership gives people who are registered as disabled access to our gyms, swimming pools and fitness classes in Camden. Memberships for Camden residents with a disability are £11.65 per month.*

At Better, we believe that swimming is for everyone, no matter what your support and access needs are and we want to make swimming accessible, fun, and easy for everyone. That's why we have a dedicated accessible swim session at Kentish Town for people with disabilities, every Wednesday from 13:00 - 14:00.
Kentish Town Sports Centre is wheelchair accessible with poolside mobility aids, allowing those with physical disabilities to participate, this includes our Poolpod.
