SENIOR MEMBERSHIPS

If you're 60 and over, you can get active in our gyms, swimming pools and fitness classes, at a competitive price in Islington.  The Better Health Partnership Senior membership costs £24.00 per month and includes access to all of the Better centres in the borough.  

Alternatively if you would like to try out your local facilities before commiting to monthly payments, we have a Pay as you Go membership available.  The Better Adult Senior membership costs just £7.30 per year and includes discounts for a variety of activities across Islington.

Senior customers are also able to access a wide range of classes each week. This includes Mind and Body, Strength and Conditioning, Cardio and Dance.

SWIM SESSIONS

Free swimming is on offer for Islington residents aged 60+, Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and after 1pm on weekends.  Sessions are available at Ironmonger Row Baths which is situated next door to Finsbury Leisure Center.  A Better Adult Senior pay as you go membership is required, costing £7.30 per year. This offer is also available at Highbury Leisure Centre, Archway Leisure Centre and Cally Pool.  Sessions times may vary by centre.

BETTER GET TOGETHER

Come along to our Better Get Together 60+ sessions which are run in partnership with Age UK Islington.  We host a session next door at Finsbury Leisure Centre.  From badminton, table tennis and short tennis to enjoying refreshments in the social area, there's something for everyone. Sobell Leisure Centre:

Thursday: Better Get Together 10.30am-1.00pm (dominos, table tennis and short mat bowls) *including Zumba basics 11.15am-12.15am

FREE SWIMMING LESSONS

Ironmonger Row Baths are offering free swimming lessons for people aged 60 and over.  Lessons are run in partnership with Islington Council.  Available for a limited time only.
