Over 60 and ready to kick start a healthier lifestyle? With so many fitness and social activities around the borough, including swim, racquet sports and trips you’re sure to find something you will love. Why not to take advantage of our supervised swimming pool and studio sessions or have a go at different sports. All is aimed at getting you active, having fun and keeping healthy at the same time. You'll receive great support from our professional and friendly staff that will be happy to help you achieve your best.

Senior Swimming

60+ borough residents can benefit from funded swimming opportunities in Partnership with Waltham Forest Council. We offer free off-peak swimming  to all seniors who hold a valid Better Adult Senior membership.

Basic Fitness Classes

Whether you are a beginner or are coming back to exercise after a break, our Adult Basics classes are suitable for people of all abilities. Featuring lower intensity options and simpler movements, our Adult Basics class still help to train strength and fitness but at a pace that suits you. This way you can gradually build confidence as well as learn the foundations to get moving and boost your overall fitness.

Senior Gym

Our large gym has all the equipment and space you need for your workout. From free weights, to resistance to a functional zone & plenty of matting for a good post workout stretch to help with your health and fitness goals.

Our friendly fitness instructors are also on hand to help and assist with all customer questions and queries. Fitness inductions are also a great way for customers to receive a health check assessment and be provided with an exercise training plan for more guided support

Short Mat Bowls

If you enjoy socializing and staying active our short mat bowls sessions are a great way to do both. You can relax, chat, and enjoy your time together whilst having friendly competition all in our inviting atmosphere. Tea, Coffee & biscuits on offer
