There are seven accessible parking bays located at the front of the leisure centre where access is controlled via a barrier and intercom connected to the on-site reception team.

There are an additional five accessible parking bays located in the main section of the car park and infront of the metrolink tram stop. From all accessible parking bays there is step free access into the leisure centre.

The library also has a range of books for adults in a number of different languages including Urdu, Arabic, Polish, Farsi & more. The options available are relevant to key languages within the local community.

Books can be ordered in for collection provided they can be found within the catalogue. Enquiries can be made by phone contacting 01612273777 or by using the link below to send an email.

POOLPOD

The PoolPod lifts give you independent, comfortable access to the pool, getting you swimming quickly and easily, but access can also be achieved in either pool using the easy access steps and handrail for those that are able.

PoolPod lifts are perfect for anyone who might find it more difficult to access a swimming pool by using a ladder or steps, such as parents with young children, wheelchair users, older adults, people recovering from injuries or anyone with limited mobility. Just ask a member of the team for a quick demonstration.
