Community Spirit Shines as Leisure Centre Customers Donate Christmas Gifts to Harpurhey Neighbourhood Society 

The North City Family and Fitness Centre was a hub of generosity throughout the festive season as customers joined forces to spread joy by donating gifts to support families in need through the Harpurhey Neighbourhood Society. 

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the centre launched a donation drive, encouraging the local community to contribute non-perishable food items, toys for children aged 1-15, and winter clothing for all ages. The response was nothing short of remarkable. 

The initiative, which ran throughout December, resulted in dozens of families receiving thoughtful gifts and essential supplies, ensuring they could celebrate Christmas with warmth, joy, and hope. 

Inspired by this year’s success, we plan to make the donation drive an annual event.  

The donations serve as a heartwarming reminder of the power of community and compassion. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this Christmas brighter for families in need.
