2024 Review - Events

We have worked with local and national promotors in 2024 to bring some of the biggest and best events to Walker! Below is a recap of our 2024 event programme...

Maxx Fight 

Our first event of 2024 was Maxx Fight which brought in around 1000 spectators for a full day of adult and junior Thai Boxing. This event was a real good kick start to how our 2024 programme was going to shape up. 

BKFC

We hosted BKFC in June which was streamed live on BKFC TV to all fans across the globe! Paul Venis won his fight and even brought the 'Bucked up' moment of the night! 

We had a packed out crowd of around 1,800 spectators taking in a night of superb BKFC!

Thunderstruck 2 

In July, we hosted Thunderstruck 2 by North Wrestling. This was an incredible show including famous wrestlers like Gangrel! Leon Slater successfuly defended his North Wrestling Championship in a classic battle against Man Like Dereiss!

This was the highest North Wrestling attendance with over 800 spectators in the dome! 

The Straightener Show 

A local show ran by local promotors has brought us 3 amazing events in 2024! SS2, SS3 and SS4! 

On this show, we have seen everything from Boxing, MMA, Bare Knuckle, and during the intervals, have even treated the crowd to performances from Schack, DJ Chrissy G, MC Stompin and MC Ace! 

This event has brought us over 3500 spectators into the dome in 2024. 

Charlie and Carter Championships 

The only Dance event of 2024 was working with the Charlie and Carter Foundation. 

Roller Derby World Cup 

In October, we worked with local Roller Derby team Tyne n Fear to host the 2024 Roller Derby World Cup where teams attended from as far as Argentina and USA!

Congratulations to GateKeepers Roller Derby from St Louis who left Newcastle with the win!

Comic Con

Over the summer, we hosted Comic-Con which had many stands from Moes Tavern in the Simpsons to Jaws! 

War in Walker

A professional boxing event bringing over 1000 spectators to the dome. A night of superb boxing from up and coming athletes who will be the next generation of boxing in the UK! 

Eubank v Erdogan 

We were absolutely delighted to start working with Wasserman Boxing bringing a professional boxing event to Walker which was live on Channel 5! 

A superb night of boxing where Harlem Eubank won the main event to defend his title!
