Staying motivated can always be a challenge, but with a wide variety of fitness classes available here at Sleaford Leisure Centre, you'll find the perfect way to keep active.

Whatever you are looking to achieve we have classes for the whole community, from our standard fitness classes to classes specially for an older adults, we’ve got something to suit everyone.

Our fitness classes are grouped into key categories below, which help you identify the right classes for you.

Don't forget you can book classes online or via the Better UK app. Members can book 7 days in advance.

CARDIO

Get your heart pumping and increase your energy levels as we move together in these fast-paced, high-energy classes providing a great calorie burning workout to the music. If you need something more challenging to add to your regular fitness routine and improve your cardiovascular fitness these are for you to join in.

DANCE

Get fit and feel great with our Dance classes. They are a great way to burn calories while having fun to the music, they are guaranteed to put a smile on your face! If your goal is to improve general fitness, lose weight and boost your coordination, these are definitely for you to try. 

MIND AND BODY

Feel better inside and glow on the outside. Build your strength, flexibility and balance in these lower-impact classes that will also bring you relaxation and peace of mind. Whether you've had a stressful day or maybe you just need to give your body a break, these are some great classes that will leave you feeling revived.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

Strength and Conditioning classes will help to improve your strength, posture and tone up the whole body. It doesn't matter if you are just starting your fitness journey or want to add something different to your training regime, these classes are suitable for all fitness levels.

Combat

A high paced combat class. There is no contact in this class, but it still incorporates all teh punching and kicking techniques to make an enjoyable but challenging class.

Aqua Aerobics

Why not try something new with our water workouts. Combining aqua aerobics with strength and conditioning moves , a workout in the water will get your heart pumping without putting pressure on your joints.

Aerobics

Get fit the fun way. You'll perform a range of cardio moves, taking each at your own pace, all guided by our friendly, motivational instructors.

Boxfit

Combine boxing moves with invigorating aerobic exercise to get a great all-over workout in a safe, non-competitive environment. Boxfit classes deliver a one-two punch of intense physical activity and a motivating environment to train your way to fighting fitness.

Dance Fitness

Dance yourself fit! Our ranges of Dance Aerobics classes combine exercise and choreography with infectious music to keep you motivated every step of the way.

Yoga

Embrace the flow of natural body movements to develop strength, flexibility and a peaceful state of mind. From energetic routines to slow, serene sequences, Yoga classes balance movement and meditation to help you feel better inside and out.

Pilates

Gently train your physique and improve your core strength in a calming, yet challenging atmosphere. Pilates exercises focus on concentration and muscle control to build a revived and resilient you.

Tai Chi

Focussed relaxation - a blissful combination. Tai Chi is a class based on deep breathing and slow gentle movements, which is lower-impact but requires good focus. Tai Chi, also called Tai Chi Chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements.

Power Pump

Get your body pumping to a driving beat with one of our motivating pump fitness classes. Fusing high energy routines with challenging weights, our pump workouts are are a full-body blast that will put you on the fast track to fitness.

Legs, Bums and Tums

A great full body workout, targeting those challenging areas. Sculpt, tone, condition and build strength whilst focussing on your bums, tums and thighs. This class does exactly what it says on the tin - what more could you ask for!

Core Conditioning

These low-impact classes really help to improve the body's strength and posture. Our team of fitness instructors use a variety of equipment and direct you to support your own bodyweight, helping you to develop a stronger core.

Aerobics Basics

Completely new to exercise and find it too daunting to book into one of our classes? Our Aerobics Basics class is perfect for those who want the same great class experience but at a slightly lower intensity.

Chair Based Exercise

Or maybe you need a bit of time off your feet - how about our Chair Based Exercise classes? Using a variety of different equipment, you'll still get a fantastic full body workout!
