Make a splash at Sleaford Leisure Centre in our beautiful 25m-length swimming pool! We’re proud to offer a range of sessions to suit all swimmers, from the early birds to the night owl.

Here at Better we have the community at the heart of everything we do, as a result our timetable is carefully planned to ensure everyone gets a chance to take a dip!  Further to this our centre is fully wheelchair accessible with a pool hoist available to ensure everyone can enjoy the use of our facilities. We offer swimming lessons for both adults and children, so everyone has the opportunity to learn this key life skill.

SWIM FOR ALL

We know time flies when you’re having fun so we’ve made sure we have plenty of fun family swimming sessions on our timetable! So whether you’re swimming as a family or sending the kids off for a splash everyone can enjoy our pool at Sleaford Leisure Centre! During holiday times, we extend these sessions to give everyone the best chance at getting their space during busy times!

During most of our Swim for All sessions our Woodland Splash Area is open too. The water is only 20 cm deep and is kept at a higher temperature than the main pool so your little one can stay warm while splashing about! Access is included as part of your Swim for All booking.

Please note: children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:2 basis.

FAMILY FUN SWIM

Our Family Fun Swim has returned! With large floats and lots of balls, our Family Fun Swims from 1:30pm-3:20pm on weekends and 6:40pm-7:40pm on Fridays are bound to be popular!

During this session our Woodland Splash Area is open too. The water is only 20 cm deep and is kept at a higher temperature than the main pool so your little one can stay warm while splashing about! Access is included as part of your Family Fun Swim booking.

Please note: children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult on a 2:1 basis.

SWIM FOR FITNESS

Swimming is an amazing low-impact activity suitable for any age or ability.

Swimming works almost every muscle in your body so it’s perfect if you want to be getting active and stay healthy!

We run lane swimming sessions alongside some of our general swimming sessions so if you want to swim lengths we have plenty of sessions for you! We have slow, medium and fast lanes set out so whether you’re a keen swimmer or simply starting out, you can take things at your own pace!

Please note: this session is for adults over the age of 16 or competent lane swimmers over the age of 11.
